Pep Rally
Tweet
Surrounded by a myriad of rockets in the ever-popular Rocket Garden at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, here’s your chance to learn the inside story about America’s favorite “feel good” television show.
You’ll meet Milan Vasic, Senior Producer of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Milan will share with you a special video presentation of some of the highlights and secrets filmed over the past eight years. But bring some tissues! We promise you’ll get emotional! You’ll experience some of the most heart-warming and touching families in the USA. You’ll see why each build draws thousands and thousands of folks and neighbors just like you to help make a worthy family’s way a little easier through the gift of a custom home, built in one week! Milan will also introduce you to some of the talented designers and artists who work around the clock, making everything happen in the magical seven days. Thank you to our friends at AV Matters for providing audio/visual and staging support for the Pep Rally.
You’ll also have a chance to meet the team with LifeStyle Homes. They will introduce the key folks on their team who are going to build this house for the recipient family – but they can’t do it without you – so come out to the Pep Rally and join in the work – and the rewarding fun!
We promise – if you help, you’ll truly be amazed at what the experience will do for you too. You’ll never forget your time spent on building this special house. And, after the Space Coast build, you can help keep the volunteer spirit alive in our Space Coast community. We ask that you bring blankets or collapsing chairs, as seating is limited and the Rocket Garden is an OUTDOOR venue. There will be space in the grassy lawn for you to set up your chairs and blankets.
